While forming the studio, much time was spent considering how to name the practice. Rather than centering on any one individual, the name needed to reflect a collective identity and a shared way of working. The idea of “Pseudonym” emerged as a response to that uncertainty — a name that intentionally steps back from authorship and emphasizes the work itself. It speaks to the studio’s beginnings as a scrappy, nights-and-weekends effort, and to the belief that design is strongest when it’s shaped by many hands and voices.
